Introduzione: Scopo di questa indagine è stato quello di raccogliere l’opinione di un campione di lavoratori sui programmidi informazione sui rischi per la salute e la sicurezza effettuati nei rispettivi ambienti di lavoro, facendo riferimentoalle modalità con cui sono stati svolti e ai loro contenuti.Metodi: È stato elaborato un questionario, somministratoda personale medico, articolato in tre sezioni: la prima sezione raccoglie i dati identificativi del paziente e le informazioni riguardanti l’attività lavorativa; la seconda valuta i contenuti dei programmi di informazione; laterza, indaga le loro modalità di effettuazione. Risultati: Sono stati reclutati 250 soggetti, sono stati inclusi nellostudio solo i lavoratori dipendenti (234). L’anzianità lavorativa media era pari a 16 anni. Il 29% dei lavoratoririferiva di aver ricevuto informazioni sul ruolo delle figure chiave della prevenzione negli ambienti di lavoro e il41.8% sui rischi aziendali e di mansione, sulle patologie ad essi correlate e sulle corrette procedure lavorative; il 7.2%non era stato coinvolto in alcun intervento informativo. Il Medico Competente ha partecipato ai programmi diinformazione nel 24% circa dei casi. Nel 55% circa delle realtà lavorative gli interventi informativi sono durati piùdi 60’ e includevano lezioni frontali e distribuzione di materiale didattico. Il 50% dei lavoratori riferiva una valutazionedell’apprendimento. Il 77,9% dei lavoratori giudicava i contenuti e la qualità della informazione ricevutaalmeno sufficiente. Discussione: I risultati di questo studio, benchè preliminari e basati su dati anamnestici, hannoevidenziato che l’informazione dettagliata e completa dei lavoratori sui rischi lavorativi non è ancora una realtàconsolidata. Il raggiungimento di questo obiettivo verrà sicuramente favorito in futuro dalla applicazione della recentenormativa entrata in vigore a fine 2011 ed in futuro potrà essere programmata una ulteriore verifica che valutil’incremento della qualità della informazione che dovrebbe derivare dalla sua applicazione.

Introduction: This study collected the opinions of sample of workers, sent to the Department of OccupationalMedicine of Brescia Civil Hospital, on the contents and the methods used for carrying out information programson the occupational risks in their workplaces. Methods: A questionnaire including three sections has beenprepared: in the first section demographic data and information on the job were collected, in the second section thecontents of programs on the prevention of occupational risks were evaluated, the third section investigated how theseprograms have been performed. Results: 250 workers have been examined; 16 self-employed workers have been excluded.Mean length of employment was sixteen years. 29% of workers reported to have received information aboutthe role of the main actors of the prevention in the workplaces according to the Italian legislation; overall 41.8% ofworkers have been informed both on occupational risks in their factory and specific job-related risks, potential occupationaldiseases and working procedures to prevent these risks. 7.2% of workers did not receive any information onoccupational risks. 24% of subjects referred the involvement of the occupational physician in the information meetings.55% of these meetings lasted more than 60 minutes and included frontal lectures and the delivery of informationleaflets; learning assessment was referred by 50% of the workers and 77.9% considered the information (contentsand quality) at least sufficient. Discussion: This study, even if preliminary and based on anamnestic data,pointed out that, at this moment, careful information on occupational risks in the workplaces seems a target not yetachieved. It is desirable to verify in the future the improvement of the quality of information given to workers, followingthe entry into force of the recent Italian legislation concerning this topic.
